Port Royal

Also known as the "City that sank", two thirds of Port Royal is under water due to earthquakes in 1692 and 1907. Now the small town is visited for its historical appeal since it once was the pirate capital of the Caribbean as well as the British Naval base for many years. There are tours available or you can just walk around on your own. Efforts to fully rebuild the city have been unsuccessful, but it's a nice place to visit for good seafood and sightseeing.
